DON JONES was born in Huntington, WV. After graduating from law school he worked in the legal and financial industry in Baltimore and Naples. After retiring from the business world, he got back into art by taking classes at The Johns Creek, Georgia, Art Center. He is currently a member of the Southeastern Pastel Society, the Southwest Florida Pastel Society and Plein Air Florida. He has received numerous awards, including many first place awards, for his art work. He works in pastels, watercolor, pencil, and oils and specifically enjoys plein air painting.
